Your pattern should have placement for the lock pieces, you will need to cut a small opening to secure the oval part of the lock which will come apart and will sandwich the fabric between it and will screw back together using the two small screws that are supplied. The turn lock part of the 38mm Oval Purse Twist Turn Lock Bag Claspwill be applied to the main body of the bag the prongs will be fed through to the wrong side fo the bag and back plate will secure the prongs in place.
