Why should you join in on the Sewcials:
A Sense of Community and Friendship: The Me Made Makes Sewcials provide a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow sewers and crafters, fostering a sense of belonging within a supportive community. Making new friends who share your interests can be a truly enriching experience.
Breaking Free from Isolation: After the last few years, marked by the challenges of COVID, stepping out to attend the Sewcials can be a breath of fresh air. It's a chance to leave the worries behind, socialise, and engage in joyful activities with others who understand your love for sewing. For me it's one of the few times in the month I actually leave the house, other than to drop off post: )
Creative Inspiration: The Me Made Makes Sewcials are a melting pot of creativity. Whether you're a seasoned expert or a beginner, being in the midst of other talented individuals can spark new ideas and inspire you to take your craft to the next level. There is also plenty of help and support from your fellow attendees and from myself as a bag making/sewing tutor
Skill Improvement: With fellow sewers around, there's ample opportunity to share knowledge, learn new techniques, and seek guidance on challenging projects. The collective expertise can enhance your sewing skills and broaden your horizons.
