I was recently asked to be a tester for Sandeep's latest pattern the Alexandra Handbag this is a an adventurous beginner bag with an amazing concertina front panel with a zipper pocket, card slots and a slip pocket.
I made mine using a sunny yellow vinyl which I purchased from Immanuel fabrics last year, and a sunflower cotton that was interfaced with the heavy weight interfacing that I stock in my website. The structure is created in this by using decovil in very clever way, which Sandeep explains in really through detail in her pattern.
I have created a tutorial for the pattern on my you tube channel which can be found here
The bag came together really easily, it looks more difficult than it actually is, and like all of Sandeep's patterns it is so well written and put together with lots of photos and diagrams.
All the hardware I used in the bag is from my website I will list the hardware down below so it can be found easily.
